This song is about the prodigal in all of us. What part of us do we keep from from the Lord? What part of us runs away from home? We are all continuously turning more and more to the Lord. Even more so, it is my prayer that this song goes out to His sons and daughters who don't have relationship with Him yet. His Love is calling out to all of us. Calling for us to come home to the One who loves us like no one else ever could. He is so waiting for all of us to respond, turn, and come home. Home to His house! Our Father's house. To come home to the Father. The song ends..and the CD ends...with the heartbeat of the Father. Sit in His lap, put your head up against His chest, and listen for your Father's heartbeat. The Father's love for us. For those who with children who are wayward prodigals, pray and sing this one over them. I pray they may hear the love of the Lord calling to them and return to the Lord...and you.
